In the last few decades, cybersecurity regulations have developed rapidly, and there have emerged new regulatory areas which may influence security, which were not known before, and which have to be followed up on. Individual persons, companies, and states have to adjust quickly to these new approaches and comply with the norms of cybersecurity. The presentation at Brown Bag Session will cover very short overview of main regional cybersecurity regulations (NIS Directive and NIS2 Proposal) and the main part of the presentation will focus on the preconditions for a successful cybersecurity compliance process. The findings of the presentation are grounded by the views of cybersecurity experts and are prepared in according the article “Preconditions for compliance in cybersecurity”, which is currently submitted for publishing.
